Exonera excelled in classical piano from a young age, moving swiftly through the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum and landing in the provincial and national top percentile for many of her classical piano examinations. She began composing original music while going through professional acting training post-secondary.

Over the past several years, Exonera has performed classical piano at most places you could imagine including piano competitions, professional music venues, wineries, ceremonies, weddings, funerals, and church services. Her original piano music has been featured in theatre productions and she has appeared in indie and tv movies playing original piano covers.

Along the way she has acquired numerous awards and achievements. A few of her favourites include The William Ody Memorial Trophy for Classical Piano and the Adjudicator’s Shining Star Scholarship for Composition.

Exonera is the musical stage name of the actress and producer Samantha Thomas.
